Position description:

• The primary purpose of the Networking Specialist / Networking Engineer is to provide technical support on such network appliances as: access points, switches, routers, load balancers, traffic optimizers. This support is provided to a large number of customers ensuring that the service meets or exceeds the established Service Level Agreements and quality standards.

Essential job requirements:

• * Good knowledge and experience of networking and security services
• * Cisco CCNA (or equivalent) qualification
• * Good knowledge of the physical configuration of IT systems
• * Experience of a client/server environment
• * Skills and experience in one or more of the following technical areas:
• - network configurations and protocols
• - hardware technologies
• - operating systems
• * Linux/Unix foundations
• * Ability to structure and draft technical documentation
• * Methodical and disciplined approach to work
• * Good interpersonal skills and customer handling skills
• * Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
• * Good analytical skills
• * Ability to work well in a team
• * Very good command of English (verbal and writing)
• Additional job requirements:
• * Knowledge or experience in: Cisco, H3C, 3Com, HP, Nortel, Avaya network solutions
• * Knowledge or experience in load balancing and WAN optimization solutions
• * Cisco CCNP (or the equivalent) qualification
• * Knowledge in management network tools
• * Second foreign language (French or German)
